Key Responsibilities :
- Strategy Development : Contribute to the development and execution of the business unit's overall strategy, with a strong focus on the life sciences sector.
- Client Relationship Management : Serve as a senior representative of the firm, overseeing client relationships, resolving conflicts, and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Project Execution : Lead and execute large, complex life science projects, from pre-construction duties to construction completion, including financial management, cost analysis, and vendor selection.
- Team Leadership : Manage and mentor a team of professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful completion of projects.
- Business Development : Identify and pursue new business opportunities, develop marketing strategies, and secure new projects within the Mid-Atlantic market.
- Cross-Disciplinary Collaboration : Collaborate with other departments within JLL to provide integrated solutions and deliver exceptional results to clients.
- Industry Involvement : Represent the business unit in local, regional, and national industry forums, demonstrating subject matter expertise and leadership.
- Project Analytics : Communicate project analytics and goals to clients and teams to achieve outstanding project delivery across a national platform.

Brokerage Collaboration : Support JLL brokerage in pursuits providing best in class solutions and expertise.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management is preferred.
- 5-10 years of senior project management experience in the life science industry, with a focus on laboratory construction, design, and operations.
- GMP experience is preferred, but not required.
- Strong understanding of project management principles, building design and construction, cost modeling, and risk analysis.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively articulate complex ideas and concepts.
- Proven track record in managing large-scale projects, including financial management, budgeting, and scheduling.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project) and MS Office applications.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, with experience in leading and developing high-performing teams.
- Strong business acumen, with the ability to drive business growth and develop long-term client relationships.
- Knowledge of accounting and financial reporting in the context of corporate real estate.
- Ability to work collaboratively and build relationships with clients, vendors, and stakeholders at all levels.
- Preferred location is the Washington, DC Metro. Candidates in Philadelphia, PA and Boston, MA will also be considered.
Estimated total compensation ran for this position is :
206,250.00 250,000.00 USD per year
The pay range listed is a total compensation range including bonus, if applicable. The provided range is an estimate and not guaranteed.
