ManTech is currently looking for Cloud Software Engineers to join our team in the Ft. Meade, MD area . In this role, you will develop, maintain, and enhance complex and diverse Big-Data cloud systems based upon documented requirements.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :

Perform requirements analysis, software development, installation, integration, evaluation, testing, and problem diagnosis / resolution

Modify software and algorithms designed for traditional environments to operate in cloud environments

Provide support to platforms and services based on Amazon Web Services (AWS) or other commercial cloud hosting environments

Provide support to platforms and services running in Kubernetes Orchestration Platform

Support the transition of operational systems and applications from traditional platforms to containerized / serverless environments

Maintain and integrate software into Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment (CI / CD) pipelines.

Support operational systems utilizing Kubernetes Orchestration Platform

Minimum Qualifications :

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required

Or 4 additional years may be substituted in lieu of a degree.

5 years of software engineering experience on projects with similar software processes

Perform requirements analysis, software development, installation, integration, evaluation, testing, and problem diagnosis / resolution

Modify software and algorithms designed for traditional environments to operate in cloud environments.

Must have Kubernetes experience.

Certification requirements :

One or more of the following :

AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate

AWS Certified SysOps Administrator

AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional

AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Professional

Certified Kubernetes Application Developer

Certified Kubernetes Administrator

Clearance Requirements :

Must have current / active TS / SCI w Polygraph

Physical Requirements :

Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.

Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.

The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.
