POSITION DESCRIPTION :

As a Lead Carpenter, you will be responsible for the efficient execution of day-to-day tasks assigned to you and your crew, collaborate with project management team to confirm detailed scope is consistently and accurately delivered, create, and maintain a positive attitude amongst crew members while assisting lesser-experienced carpenters, provide an exceptional customer experience to each of our clients.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Manage, organize, and maintain job sites to provide safe, efficient, work environments.
  • Perform general construction tasks (cutting, drilling, assembly, etc.), as assigned
  • Installation of new framing, cabinets, trim work, doors, and windows
  • Caulk, foam, install insulation to interior of home, as needed.
  • Demonstrate proper use of hand and power tools.
  • Understand, execute, and support the Sims safely culture through compliance of Sims safety policies and practices

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Ability to follow specific written and verbal instructions
  • Ability to effectively communicate with field and office personnel
  • Ability to multi-task and work at a reasonably fast pace
  • Reliable, self-motivated, and punctual
  • Current, valid, driver’s license
