POSITION DESCRIPTION :
As a Lead Carpenter, you will be responsible for the efficient execution of day-to-day tasks assigned to you and your crew, collaborate with project management team to confirm detailed scope is consistently and accurately delivered, create, and maintain a positive attitude amongst crew members while assisting lesser-experienced carpenters, provide an exceptional customer experience to each of our clients.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Manage, organize, and maintain job sites to provide safe, efficient, work environments.
- Perform general construction tasks (cutting, drilling, assembly, etc.), as assigned
- Installation of new framing, cabinets, trim work, doors, and windows
- Caulk, foam, install insulation to interior of home, as needed.
- Demonstrate proper use of hand and power tools.
- Understand, execute, and support the Sims safely culture through compliance of Sims safety policies and practices
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS :
- Ability to follow specific written and verbal instructions
- Ability to effectively communicate with field and office personnel
- Ability to multi-task and work at a reasonably fast pace
- Reliable, self-motivated, and punctual
- Current, valid, driver’s license
