About The Position
Job Title : MRI Technologist Job Specialty : Exception : MRI Technician Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Weekday Overnights, 10 PM - 6 : 30 AM, Monday to Friday Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : Minimum two (2) years' experience required License : NY License required Certifications : BLS (American Heart Association ONLY) Must-Have : - GE Scanner experience - Experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center Job Description : Maintain a clean and safe scanning facility.
- Coordinate with physicians to provide diagnostic imaging.- Prepare patients for scans and explain the procedure to help them feel comfortable.
- Insert IVs when necessary for the test.- Document all procedures while maintaining the confidentiality of patient information.
Preferred Qualifications : Certification through the ARRT or a similar organization (preferred but must be obtained after starting the position)
