- Licensed PracticalNurse LPN provide daily support to the unit leadership &respond appropriately / timely to resident / family needs within theLPN scope of practice
- Licensed Practical NurseLPN will use nursing process judgment & skills to setpriorities necessary to deliver quality direct resident care &make decisions promoting the safety / quality direct care toresidents
- Licensed Practical Nurse LPNperform / administer standard nursing treatments and / or medications& observes resident for desired or unwantedeffects
- Licensed Practical Nurse LPNcommunicate & collaborate with appropriate member(s) within thecare team to revise / update the Nursing Care Plan or any pertinentfindings including lab / test results incidents & / orconcerns
- Monitor & document vitalstreatments administered & residentsresponses
- Prepare organize oversee monitor& evaluate delivery of care of resident CNA assignments &activities considering the category of needs & competency ofpersonnel
Requirements :
- Graduate of an approved school ofNursing
- Current license in good standing in NewYork as an Licensed Practical NurseLPN
- Dedicated to providing extraordinaryclinically sound & compassionate care
- Mustpossess a spirit of cooperation caring & enthusiasm to createan atmosphere conducive to rehabilitation & optimal residenthealth
- Genuinely interested in helping illinjured disabled elderly & sometimes challengingresidents
- Have excellent communication customerservice & organization skills
- Work wellunder pressure & willing to work harmoniously with allstaff
