We are seeking an Investments professional to join our Investments team. This individual will be responsible for buying and selling fixed income and bank eligible securities for community banks.
They will also provide customer banks with portfolio management, security analysis and recommendation, bond swaps, and funding.
The investments individual will also manage marketing and education opportunities for customer banks and manage municipal inventories providing tracking reports to management.
Position Functions : Sales & Trading
Sales & Trading
- Buy and sell bank eligible fixed income
- Provide community banks with portfolio analysis and investment strategies
- Manage underwriting process and file maintenance for new municipal issues
Business Development
- Work with other areas of the bank to market and promote Bank and department services
- Lead role in managing marketing and educational offerings
Leadership & Management
- Assist with production and monitoring of annual budget
- Mentor new staff in the Investment Banking area
Qualifications
Ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, banking investments, or other related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the position functions of the job and five or more years of experience working with bank eligible fixed income securities.
CFA, MBA, or progress towards equivalent higher education is preferred.
