Duties :
- Draft discovery documents and prepare legal documents including complaints, briefs, motions, and discovery requests.
- Conduct depositions and participate in other discovery-related activities.
- Handle case management, updating client files with meticulous attention to detail.
- Assist in trial preparation and attend court proceedings, hearings, and mediations.
- Provide legal counsel to clients throughout the personal injury claims process.
- Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients.
- Work closely with senior attorneys on complex legal matters and case strategy.
- Maintain detailed and accurate client records.
Requirements :
- 2+ years of experience in personal injury law.
- Prior experience in managing cases from inception through settlement or trial.
- Strong negotiation and litigation skills.
- Ability to collaborate with senior attorneys and handle complex legal matters.
Education :
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
Certifications :
Active member of the State Bar in good standing.
