Lahey Hospital & Medical Center (LHMC), part of Beth Israel Lahey Health, is seeking an experienced leader for the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine.

- Department staffed by 20 physicians, over 200 technical and nontechnical staff encompassing patients at four hospitals, Lahey Hospital and Medical Center, Lahey Medical Center Peabody, Beverly Hospital and Mount Auburn Hospital.
- Diagnoses are provided for over 35,000 surgical pathology specimens and almost 17,000 cytopathology specimens for Burlington and Peabody.
Mount Auburn and Beverly add approximately 16,000 to 17,000 surgical specimens at each site.
Active initiatives in molecular diagnostics, microbiology, clinical informatics and blood bank.
Successful candidates will demonstrate the ability to model and encourage exceptional diagnostic work with a focus on quality and safety, develop systems to optimize and adapt pathology to the changing healthcare environment and build upon the department's academic / research portfolio.
