Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Model-Based Systems Engineer (MBSE) SME to join our team to join our team in the DMV area.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to :
Leads tasks / projects and teams to accomplish project objectives and address sponsor problems.
Models architectures of complex systems using standards-based languages (e.g., SysML).
Evaluates and compares alternative architectures using qualitative and quantitative techniques and articulates major uncertainties associated with systems architectures, defining risks and opportunities associated with the uncertainties.
Supports requirements management, interface management, and architecture Change Management processes.
Translates analysis results into actionable recommendations for Government agencies.
Analyzes, organizes, and translates sponsor data into MBSE SysML artifacts and elements; uses SysML tools to develop architecture, requirements, and behavioral and parametric models and builds various SysML views of models that support customer understanding.
Supports development of implementable strategies to address customer challenges with adoption of MBSE and associated tools such as Cameo / No Magic or IBM Rational.
Basic Qualifications :
Minimum of twelve (12) years of relevant experience.
Bachelor’s Degree in STEM field
Four (4) years of additional experience is required with a High School diploma; two (2) years of additional experience is required with an Associate’s degree
A Master’s degree may be considered in lieu of two (2) years of experience; a Ph.D. can be considered in lieu of four (4) years of experience
Seven (7) years of position-specific experience
Knowledge and understanding of information technology, network infrastructure, or C6ISR systems.
Experience with SysML nomenclature and DoDAF.
Experience with MagicDraw, Cameo Systems Modeler, CATIA, or other System Modeling tools.
Experience with engineering analysis (collecting, organizing, and analyzing data).
Strong written communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, analytical, mathematical, and organizational skills are essential.
Experience leading systems engineering teams.
Preferred Qualifications :
OCSMP SysML or INCOSE Certifications.
Demonstrated understanding of Object-Oriented Systems Engineering Method (OOSEM).
Ability to work in a distributed team environment.
Knowledge and understanding of Software Intensive Systems or Information Communication Technology (ICT) systems.
Strong preference for candidates with experience modeling or simulating systems within DoD domains.
Experience with MATLAB, AFSIM, SIMDIS, or similar modeling and simulation tools.
Experience with C++, Python, R, SQL, PostgreSQL, Linux, VBA, or STK.
Clearance Requirements :
Must possess an active TS / SCI clearance
Physical Requirements :
The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
