JOB SUMMARY

This is a critical role within the organization, responsible for providing timely and accurate reporting and servicing, as further defined in the Key Responsibilities below.

It is critical that this position adheres to service level expectations as defined in each company / client agreement while processing and reconciling all forms of client cashiering transactions.

This role reports to VP / Client Controller.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Completes and delivers timely and accurate client reporting packages and distribution of reporting as assigned.
  • Process Master Servicing (bulk) payments
  • Process Master Servicing Refunds
  • Assist in reconciling issues between the system and the sub-servicer system.
  • Responsible for daily accurate and timely Case Management monitoring and completion of tasks assigned.
  • Prepares and distributes accurate and timely servicing invoices for assigned clients.
  • Month End closing, including clearing security deposits, suspense balance reconciliation, assist in charge off processing, and any other duties assigned to ensure accurate month end reconciliations.
  • Responsible to identify and accurately post Master Servicing Cash.
  • Communication with clients regarding general questions regarding but not limited to monthly reports and cash reconciliation / reports.
  • Supports Orion’s Stars and Clients, as necessary.
  • Uphold Orion’s Company Culture, Purpose, and Mission
  • Must be able to work late from time to time and on Month End
  • Work together with IT to analyze and improve systems and processes.
  • Always supports Orion’s Team and clients.
  • Other duties as assigned.

TRAVEL

Potential to visit corporate headquarters as requested no more than quarterly

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2 years of accounting experience
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Expert knowledge of MS Excel QuickBooks
  • Proficient in Salesforce
  • Desire and ability to collaborate and work on long-term projects.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Ability to solve problems quickly and find potential solutions.
  • Experience in auditing and reconciliation
  • Associates degree and 2+ years’ experience in finance industry specific to accounting.
