Minimum 1+ years special education experience required.
Soliant is seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Education Teacher for a full-time contract position in the metro Boston area.
This onsite role offers the opportunity to work in a supportive educational environment, providing essential educational support to students with special needs.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs
- Provide direct instruction and support to students in various settings
- Adapt and modify curriculum and instructional materials to meet students' needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to create supportive learning environments
- Monitor and report on student progress and development
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
Qualifications :
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education
- Valid Massachusetts Special Education certification
- Strong instructional and classroom management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred
