Minimum 1+ years school psychologist experience required.
Caseload : Middle and high school students, primarily evals / assessments with possibility of some individual or small group counseling
Position Type : Full-time with guaranteed weekly hours
Pay Range : $47+ / hour, paid weekly
Responsibilities :
- Conducting comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and evaluations to identify students' strengths, challenges, and learning needs.
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavioral intervention plans (BIPs).
- Providing counseling and guidance to students individually or in group settings to address social, emotional, and behavioral concerns.
- Facilitating and participating in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress, interventions, and transition plans.
- Designing and delivering evidence-based interventions to promote positive behavior, academic success, and overall well-being.
Qualifications :
- Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology.
- Valid license or certification as a School Psychologist.
- Experience working as a School Psychologist is highly desirable.
- Proficient in conducting psychoeducational assessments and interpreting assessment results.
- Sound knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and procedures.
- Strong understanding of various behavioral intervention strategies and positive behavior support systems.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical guidelines.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
