Senior Accountant

MAX Surgical Specialty Management is on the lookout for an Senior Accountant who’s not just great with numbers but also a proactive problem-solver with a passion for innovation.

In this role, you'll dive into a dynamic environment where your expertise in accounting and finance will be key to driving operational efficiency and supporting our growth.

What You’ll Do : Be the Financial Architect : Build the Foundation : Develop, document, and implement financial processes that will scale as our business grows, ensuring everything runs smoothly from the ground up.

Payroll Pro : Oversee and manage payroll operations, working closely with HR to streamline and optimize the payroll process, both weekly and biweekly.

Innovate with Tech : Assist in refining and developing business practices, policies, and procedures within our ERP environment to keep things efficient and effective.

Integrate and Grow : Play a key role in integrating financial and operational processes for future acquisitions, setting the stage for seamless transitions.

Audit and Compliance : Support quarterly and year-end financial audits and work with advisors on tax preparation and compliance.

Tech-Stack Mastery : Help in bringing all accounting functions in-house by 2025, taking joint responsibility for our financial tech stack (Intacct, Bill, Tallie, Blackline, etc.

Special Projects : Jump into special projects as needed, bringing your expertise to new challenges on a regular basis.

What You Bring : A Strong Foundation : Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. Experience that Counts : 2+ years of hands-on accounting and finance experience, especially in multi-site operations.

Payroll Expertise : You know your way around payroll, with hands-on experience in multi-state payroll being a big plus. Tech-Savvy Problem-Solver : You’re always looking for ways to improve processes and love using technology to make things better.

Integrity and Energy : You bring high integrity, high energy, and a collegial attitude to everything you do. People Skills : Strong interpersonal and communication skills are a must.

Healthcare Background : Experience with healthcare providers is a plus, as is experience in a Private Equity environment.

M&A Experience : If you’ve worked on integrating acquisitions before, we’d love to hear about it. Tech Stack Pro : Experience with Sage Intacct, Bill.
