Nuclear Imaging Technologist
Located in Orange, CA, this position offers a competitive salary ranging from $110,000 to $150,000 per year, along with full benefits and a potential bonus opportunity.
Sign-on bonus of $10,000.00 available for qualified candidates.

As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will report to the Nuclear Medicine Supervisor and be responsible for performing a wide variety of Nuclear Medicine procedures using radiopharmaceuticals and related chemical substances.
Your focus will be on delivering high-quality patient care, ensuring timely patient throughput, and conducting exams. You will operate and perform quality control on both stationary and portable scintillation equipment, including gamma cameras, Geiger-Mueller counters, well counters, dose calibration devices, and other ancillary equipment.
Additionally, you will be responsible for conducting PET, Nuc Med, and CT diagnostic studies on PET / CT scanners, which includes the injection of CT Contrast Media, image acquisition, and reformatting.
This role also requires you to perform necessary scans and procedures for scanner qualification in research trials. You will be responsible for creating and programming study-specific protocols, including administration, imaging, and reformatting.
This will be done under the direction of the Nuclear Medicine Supervisor and Medical Director.
To be successful in this position, you must have the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System.
You should be able to maintain an appropriate work pace based on the workload and demonstrate excellent customer service skills.
Knowledge of State regulatory radiation safety practices and ALARA principles is essential. You must also be a graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine program and have strong communication skills in English.
In addition, you should be able to provide on-call / call-back service when needed and have a minimum of one year of full-time experience as a CNMT.
Possessing current BLS certification and active State of California CNMT License, as well as current and active NMTCB and / or AART (N) licensure for Nuclear Medicine, is necessary.
Preferred qualifications for this role include a minimum of one year of full-time experience performing Nuclear Medicine procedures and knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures, and forms.
