Facilities Maintenance Technician
The Facilities Technician is responsible for applying basic fixes to equipment and building systems and support compliance with quality GMP standards for facilities.
This role requires a self-motivated individual who is eager to start each day conducting a plant walkthrough, seeking areas of improvement.
Job Functions :
- Paint, remodel, refurbish indoor and outdoor areas as needed.
- Repair, maintain / monitor all equipment and amenities.
- Minor servicing of utilities equipment such as lubrication and filter changes.
- Change light bulbs, interior and exterior, as needed.
- Maintain exterior property, including coordination of lawncare and snow removal.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as plumbing and facilities repairs.
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks on equipment and systems.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Use maintenance equipment and tools on a daily basis.
- Conserve maintenance resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish requisite tasks.
- Maintain continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, issues, and ongoing opportunities.
- Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned or required.
Job Qualifications :
- High school education or equivalent
- 5-10 years of working experience in facilities maintenance
- Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, and carpentry
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Must demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills; customer service oriented
- Must be organized, detail oriented, self-motivated, and able to multi-task
