Associate Athletic Director / Head Baseball Coach

The Opportunity

Lesley University is seeking a collaborative and dynamic individual to serve as the Associate Athletic Director / Baseball Head Coach.

This role will assist the Director of Athletics with all aspects of management associated with the Lesley Athletic Department while heading the operation for the Baseball program.

This position is responsible for managing all aspects of facilities management and rentals, equipment management and will serve as the main liaison for the department with their contracted gear vendor for uniform management and upkeep.

This role will also collaborate with the Director for strategic planning initiatives that align with institutional goals.

Lesley University is an NCAA Division III institution and a member of the North Atlantic Conference (NAC) with 14 varsity programs and a competitive Esports Program, serving over 150 student-athletes.

The successful candidate must demonstrate strong leadership traits and be prepared to support other administrative initiatives assigned by the Athletic Director.

Qualities & Capabilities

A successful candidate will have :

Bachelors Degree required in related field, Masters Degree preferred

Five or more years of combined experience in Athletic Administration & Coaching

Knowledge and solid understanding of NCAA Division III rules and regulations

Proficiency in Microsoft Office & Teams

Excellent organizational, written and communication skills

Strong interpersonal, time management and managerial skills

Experience with event management and site supervision

Ability to work independently but as an integral part of a team

Requires night and weekend hours and potential overnight travel

Driver’s License required
