Primrose School of Avon is seeking a part-time Support / Float Teachers for our private child care program.. As a supporting teacher at Primrose you would take over for the daytime lead teacher and be responsible for the afternoon care & education.

Teachers gain exceptional experience by developing and maintaining relationships with parents at pick-up, INDEPENDENTLY executing light afternoon curriculum and helping to close the classroom prepare the classroom for the next day's programing.

Daily Responsibilities :

• Implementing prepared lesson plans.
• Meeting the individual's needs of the children
• Parent communication.
• Participation in staff and training meetings.
• Interacting with the children to support play, exploration, and learning.
• Presenting expectations that are appropriate to the child’s age and developmental level.
• Planning and implementing activities that develop self-esteem and social skills.
• Communicating appropriately and professionally with parents and fellow staff.
• Building teamwork.
• Using assessment tools to guide individual instruction and adapt to children's individual needs.
• Committing to continuing education.
