Job Description

Ipsos' Channel Performance Service Line is dedicated to helping our clients size, measure, and drive improved performance across their sales channels - usually physical locations, contact centers, and digital purchases.

We help our clients size their distribution channels, we help them measure execution on brand promises or staff training programs, we make sure they drive executional compliance and sales conversion.

Ultimately helping our clients understand the moments where they interact with their customers. We help them identify and correct performance gaps.

As a full-service, global agency, we offer customized and syndicated research offerings to provide our clients with commercially meaningful insights.

Please note, we are looking to fill this position with a start date of January 2024.

What you can expect to be doing :

  • Attend internal program kick-off meetings
  • Survey programming (skip patterns, scoring and data check logic)
  • Quiz programming
  • Survey and quiz testing
  • Client locations (sample) management
  • Shop sessions creation
  • Data quality checkers (in excel)
  • Field Status Reports (FSR's)
  • Collaborate with CS account team on reporting solution design
  • Reporting dashboard creation from a standard library of widgets
  • Work with CS team to troubleshoot and resolve technical / platform-related issues
  • Be the primary source for technical Trello story details for specific program support and technical efforts
  • Tracker programs ongoing technical support
  • Attend workload backlog standup meetings twice a week
  • Contribute to the development of, and participation in, ongoing monitoring processes
  • Maintain strong client relationships and work to develop those relationships through frequent client contact including travel to client sites (when conditions allow), leading meetings / presentations, delivering insightful research solutions
  • Ownership of your business, including management of account profitability and internal / external resources
  • Oversight and / or management of all aspects of the research process from proposal writing and research design, to analysis and interpretation of results by weaving together a store through reporting and presentation of the results
  • Mentor junior team members to provide insightful and reliable results in a timely manner
  • Proactively seek opportunities for promoting and amplifying what Channel Performance can do for current and potential clients

What success in this role looks like :

A successful Director blends strategic knowledge of our clients' industry and analytical knowledge to contribute to the growth of the Ipsos Channel Performance business.

A strong foundation in the design and implementation of successful market research projects is key to success in this role.

The heart of the Director position is managing accounts and developing junior researchers into future leaders at Ipsos.

This might be the job for you if you have :

  • 8+ years of supplier-side market research experience (client-side experience also valuable)
  • Work well in a team-based environment
  • Proven experience building and managing successful client relationships
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills with strong interpersonal and presentation skills. Able to adjust presentation focus "on the fly" based on audience, context and feedback.
  • Superior organizational, multi-tasking, decision-making and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to manage complex, multi-faceted research programs and to create, manage, and commit to a project plan, schedule and budget
  • Data savvy with a strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Resourceful, pragmatic, and flexible but always standards-oriented
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and other business-related software systems. Data visualization skills in PowerPoint a big plus
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher

In accordance with NY / CO / CA / WA law, the estimated base salary range for this role is $100,000 to $110,000. Your final base salary will be determined based on several non-discriminatory factors which may include but are not limited to location, work experience, skills, knowledge, education and / or certifications.
