Our client, a leader in logistics and transportation, is seeking a Freight Clerk to join their team. As a Freight Clerk, you will be part of the Logistics department supporting various operational functions. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a detail-oriented mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title : Freight Clerk

Location : AUSTIN, MN

Pay Range : $19.00 per hour

Shift : Monday – Friday, 40 hours

What's the Job?

• Maintain late truck email : Communicate late delivery information and provide follow-up correspondence per department procedures.
• Work closely with the Appointment Coordinator to alert necessary personnel of potential late trucks as identified by track and trace.
• Communicate any WM / Sam’s issues with deliveries to the WM vendor Management team.
• Run Wal-Mart appointment verification daily and cross-check AS 400.
• Administer late coding for late customer deliveries and track / report per period.
