About The Position
Job Title : Rehabilitation Therapy Specialist Job Specialty : Speech Therapist Job Duration : 13 Weeks Shift : Monday - Friday Guaranteed Hours : 32 Per Week Experience : Open to New Graduates;
SNF Experience Preferred License : State License Verification Required Certifications : Relevant Certifications as Required by the State Must-Have : - Prescreen Filled Out and Attached - Resume and License Verification Attached - Covid Test 72 Hours Prior to Start Date, with Results Issued 48 Hours Prior Job Description : Ensure prescreen documentation, resume, and license verification are included with application submission.
- Conduct therapy sessions with patients, focusing on improving speech and communication abilities.- Preferred experience in Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) settings.
- Perform evaluations and develop personalized treatment plans for patients.- Maintain records of patient progress and adjust treatments as necessary.
- Coordinate with other healthcare professionals to optimize care for patients.- Ensure compliance with all background checks and credentialing requirements, including criminal searches and background checks.
- Conduct necessary health assessments, including a 2-step PPD or Quantiferon, or provide proof of positive PPD and Chest X-ray.
- Adhere to all health and safety guidelines, including Covid-19 testing protocols.- Participate in any required training and orientation sessions.
