About The Position
Job Title : Diagnostic Imaging Technologist Job Specialty : Radiologic Technologist, CT Technologist Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Four, 10-hour shifts, Monday-Thursday, 8 : 30 PM to 7 : 00 AM Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours per week Experience : - Minimum of 2 years of experience in the medical field- Thorough knowledge of radiologic terminology, practices and procedures, physiology, and human anatomy- Strong computer skills License : Must hold a current registered technologist certification / license Certifications : ARRT certification for both X-ray and CT, or ARRT for X-ray and state certification for CT- Current Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification Must-Have : Ability to work independently- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English- Ability to respond to on-call situations, including weekends and holidays- Participation in Continuous Quality Improvement / Performance Improvement activities Job Description : Perform a variety of imaging procedures, including X-ray and CT scans- Ensure patient safety protocols are followed- Serve as the first line of interface with patients to successfully meet their imaging needs- Participate in quality improvement initiatives Additional Notes : Holiday coverage may be required- EMR system used : CPSI / Evident
