This is a remote position.
The Financial Analyst provides critical analytical support within an office setting assisting with financial planning analysis and reporting activities.
The role involves working closely with senior analysts and other finance team members to evaluate financial performance identify trends and support strategic decisionmaking.
A strong understanding of financial modeling data analysis and reporting tools is required to perform various analytical and financial duties independently with minimal supervision.
- Analyze financial data and create detailed reports on company performance including monthly quarterly and annual financial results.
- Work independently with minimal supervision to prepare financial models forecasts and variance analyses to support business planning and decisionmaking.
- Assist in the development of budgets and financial projections working closely with department managers to ensure accurate and timely submissions.
- Monitor financial performance against budgets highlighting key trends risks and opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to provide financial insights and support strategic initiatives including new projects product launches and costsaving measures.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive financial documentation including reports presentations and dashboards ensuring clarity and accuracy.
- Participate in the monthend and yearend closing processes reconciling financial data and ensuring all entries are accurate and complete.
- Support senior analysts in conducting market research competitive analysis and industry benchmarking to inform financial strategies.
- Engage in continuous learning to stay updated with the latest industry trends financial regulations and analytical tools participating in training sessions as needed.
- Assist with data integrity checks ensuring that financial information is accurate consistent and aligned with company policies.
- Provide input on improving financial analysis processes tools and methodologies to increase efficiency and enhance decisionmaking.
- Support the finance team in preparing presentations for senior management investors and other stakeholders delivering clear and concise financial insights.
- Engage in continuous improvement activities such as enhancing financial models optimizing reporting processes and automating routine tasks.
- Ensure compliance with company policies financial regulations and reporting standards in all financial activities.
- Collaborate with auditors during financial reviews providing requested data and supporting documentation.
- Assist with other financial analysis tasks as needed including ad hoc analysis special projects and operational support.
