Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end disaster recovery projects, including requirements gathering, architecture design, deployment, testing, and documentation.
Configure and maintain Virtual Protection Groups (VPGs), recovery time objectives (RTOs), and recovery point objectives (RPOs) for critical applications.
Perform DR failover, failback, and testing to ensure business continuity readiness.
Deploy, configure, and manage Zerto Virtual Replication Appliances (VRAs), including creating and maintaining VRAs for protected workloads.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Zerto replication, failover, performance, VRAs, and integration with virtualization and storage platforms.
Leverage VMware Broadcom vCenter / ESXi integration with Zerto to manage replication, failover, and monitoring at the hypervisor level.
Integrate Zerto with automation tools, monitoring platforms, and backup systems as needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Hands-on expertise with Zerto Virtual Replication (design, configuration, testing, troubleshooting, VRA deployment, and administration).
In-depth understanding of how Zerto works, including replication mechanics, journal usage, and automation capabilities.
Strong knowledge of VMware vSphere and VMware Broadcom vCenter (required), Hyper-V, or other virtualization platforms.
Experience with storage platforms (SAN, NAS, iSCSI, Fibre Channel).
Proven ability to manage large-scale DR failover / failback exercises.
Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
Zerto automation experience (PowerShell, REST API, Python, Ansible).
Familiarity with backup and recovery solutions (Veeam, Commvault, Rubrik, etc.).
Experience working in regulated industries (finance, healthcare, government). Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
