About The Position
Job Title : Inpatient Pharmacist Job Specialty : Pharmacist Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Day 2x8-Hour (06 : 30 - 15 : 00);
Mid 2x8-Hour (14 : 30 - 23 : 00) Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : Not specified License : Must be licensed in the State of North Dakota Certifications : Must ensure competency checks for the IV room / Sterile compounding according to USP 797 regulations Must-Have : - Ability to oversee verification of CPOE orders - Experience with Cerner or similar systems - Ability to check Pharmacy technician patient-specific dispensations Job Description : - Provide support covering the core pharmacy unit dose functions during weekdays and some weekends (every 4th weekend).
- Oversee verification of CPOE orders using Cerner or similar systems. - Check pharmacy technician patient-specific dispensations.
- Opportunity to work in the IV room / Sterile compounding, ensuring required competency checks are fulfilled. - Adhere to hospital guidelines and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Participate in necessary occupational screenings and initiate background checks promptly. - Be flexible to float as needed across various units for all travel assignments.
