Lead Product Management Manager

DIRECTV is seeking an experienced and dynamic Lead Product Manager to join our Product Partnerships team within the Product Management organization.

The Lead Product Manager will be crucial in managing and optimizing our product partnerships across our Video Products. This position offers an exciting opportunity to shape the future of DIRECTV's streaming services and work with cutting-edge technology in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Here's what you’ll do :

Develop and maintain strong relationships with key streaming platform partners (i.e. Google, Apple, Roku, Amazon, Samsung, etc.

to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of DIRECTV's video services.

  • Analyze market trends, user feedback, and performance metrics to identify and assess opportunities for growth of our video services.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product Development, IT, engineering, design, marketing, and business development teams to define, prioritize, implement integration requirements, and measure outcomes.
  • Prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes.
  • Present product strategies, roadmaps, and performance reports to senior leadership and stakeholders.

What you’ll need to be successful :

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field preferred. MBA a plus!
  • 5+ years of experience in product management, preferably in the streaming media or technology industry.
  • Preferable to have experience with platform integrations with major applications platforms (e.g., Apple, Google, Roku, Amazon, Vizio, Samsung, LG).
  • Strong understanding of streaming technologies, platforms, and industry trends.
  • Excellent project management skills with a track record of delivering complex projects on time.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Asana, Office Suite).
  • Proven ability to influence without direct authority and navigate complex organizational structures.
  • May require a background check due to job duties requiring routine access to DIRECTV and DIRECTV customer’s proprietary data.

Ideally the candidate is anchored in El Segundo, CA, or the surrounding metropolitan areas for ease of in-office collaboration when needed.

It is the company's policy to offer pay that is competitive with other employers in the local market. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.

DIRECTV WAGE ZONES : $116,375 - $211,255

Please note that the salary ranges reflect base salary only and do not include bonus or benefits - when you consider all of these together, it represents a pretty impressive total compensation package.
