Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive talent management strategies that align with the company’s business objectives.
- Lead leadership development programs to identify and nurture future leaders within the organization.
- Partner with senior leadership to assess and address organizational talent needs and gaps.
- Create a comprehensive learning strategy to bridge performance, capability, or succession gaps.
- Develop and execute retention strategies focused on team member engagement, satisfaction, and career development.
- Oversee the administration of employee listening tools and engagement surveys, including data analysis and reporting.
- Design and implement onboarding strategies tailored to various roles, reducing ramp time and improving new hire performance.
- Manage performance management systems, ensuring goal alignment with company objectives and promoting continuous improvement.
- Support and integrate diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) principles into all aspects of talent management.
- Oversee succession planning processes to maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates for key roles.
- Provide strategic direction for training and development programs to enhance team member skills and competencies.
- Develop and maintain competency models for various organizational roles.
- Collaborate with HR and departmental leaders to design and implement workforce planning strategies.
- Monitor and analyze talent metrics, offering insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with relevant labor laws and regulations in talent management processes.
- Distribute monthly learning reports, ensuring proactive efforts by property leaders to maintain team member certifications and compliance.
- Serve as a strategic advisor to senior leadership on talent-related matters, providing expert guidance.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of talent management professionals, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Oversee the administration of Workday’s Talent Optimization, People Analytics, and Workday Help Center modules.
- Manage the organization’s learning management system, Litmos, and oversee its maintenance.
- Lead the development and implementation of learning curriculum for the annual General Manager leadership summit.
- Stay informed about innovative and emerging talent practices to ensure the organization delivers a best-in-class team member experience.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in human resources, with a focus on talent management, organizational development, or a related area.
- 5+ years of leadership experience in a senior HR or talent management role, preferably within the hospitality or service industry.
- Proven success in designing and implementing effective talent management strategies and programs.
- Experience leading largescale change management initiatives and organizational transformations.
- In-depth knowledge of HR best practices, technologies, organizational learning, performance management, leadership development, and employee engagement.
