Description

SAIC is looking for a talented data analyst and operations manager for the Marketing organization. This is a unique opportunity to join a highly creative and evolving team during an exciting organization transformation.

With new leadership in place, we are engaging with stakeholders in increasingly meaningful and effective ways.

Primary areas of responsibility include developing strategic marketing operations, optimizing processes, technology and metrics to ensure that marketing strategies are aligned with business objectives.

The candidate will be responsible for collecting and analyzing marketing data to provide insights and recommendations for tracking ROI and improving marketing strategies.

The Marketing Analyst will work closely with the CMO and her direct reports to track data and ensure close coordination across the Marketing team, from marketing campaigns to ABM and Opportunity-Centric Marketing.

The environment at SAIC is fast-paced and dynamic. In this role, you will have the ability to become a trusted advisor to the marketing organization, with a focus on collaboration to align data and analytics across the company.

And you will be working with a marketing team that regularly tries to extend the limits of what is possible.

This position reports to the SVP / Chief Marketing Officer.

This role is remote with some required travel to the SAIC corporate office in Reston, VA.

Responsibilities

  • Insights generation : transform raw data into meaningful insights and recommendations to improve marketing strategies
  • Performance Tracking : monitor and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, identifying areas for improvement and optimization
  • Establishing and tracking KPIs for Customer Engagement, with a focus on account-based and opportunity-centric marketing
  • Reporting : regularly update stakeholders and leadership at various levels on marketing performance, insights and the impact of data-driven decisions.
  • Analyze the performance of marketing strategies and campaigns and offer recommendations to efficiently execute and optimize them for maximum impact
  • Delve into the intricacies of marketing data, technology, and processes to streamline operations, measure performance, and support data-driven decision-making
  • Effective Communication : demonstrate strong writing and presentation skills to make informed recommendations on measurement and align stakeholders with intended outcomes.
  • Data Utilization and Visualization : Utilize multiple data sources, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) to acquire, clean, reshape and visually present insightful data sets
  • Innovation and Improvement : Collaborate with stakeholders and leadership at various levels to create new measurement tools and improve insights efficiency
  • Advisory and Guidance : Identify opportunities for improvement and suggest enhancements for common data or measurement tools
  • Advise, train and mentor others in using and interpreting results and tools to maximize their value

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and 15 years or more of related experience; master's and 13 years or more experience.

  • Aptitude for translating complex topics and issues into simple, understandable and visual messages.
  • Candidate must demonstrate the ability to think critically to resolve problems with creative and effective solutions and demonstrate initiative and innovation in their work.
  • Must be able to develop and maintain relationships within the organization to become a trusted advisor.
  • Must be able to work independently and influence as an individual contributor.
  • Must have high standards and be committed to delivering high quality communications.
  • Comfortable with a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Must be able to demonstrate speed, flexibility, adaptability and ability to work under pressure.
  • Must demonstrate a proven track record of delivering data-driven marketing insights
  • Preferred experience with various tools and technologies :

Content and Web Analytics

  • Experience with a CRM system (Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics) and email automation
  • Organic and Paid Social Analytics (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn)
  • Web & SEO Analytics (Google Analytics, SEM Rush)
  • Reporting / Data Visualization (PowerBI, Looker Studio)
  • Sentiment and Media Analytics (Muck Rack)
  • Experience with marketing project management tools for campaign planning

Target salary range : $120,001 - $160,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
