Job Description
The Receptionist is the company’s first point of contact. Duties include greeting guests and visitors, coordinating front office activities, including distributing correspondence and redirecting phone calls, and offering administrative support across the organization.
Summary / objective
The Receptionist is responsible for handling incoming mail, phone calls, faxes, daily and weekly reports. .
Essential functions

- Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls.
- Ensure the reception area is tidy and presentable.
- Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone and email.
- Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail and deliveries.
- Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Supervisory responsibilities None.
Physical demands Sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and / or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
Repetitive motion. Substantial movements (motions) of wrists, hands, and / or fingers. The employee is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as : preparing and analyzing data and figures;
viewing a computer; extensive reading.
Travel required : None.
Required education and experience
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- One year receptionist experience or relevant experience in a related field.
Preferred education and experience
Two years clerical experience in a related field. Additional education may be considered in lieu of experience.
Additional eligibility requirements
Employees must pass a background check and provide identifying documents required to establish identity and employment eligibility for Employment Eligibility Verification Form I-9.
Work authorization / security clearance requirements
U.S. citizens and lawful Permanent Residents are eligible for employment. Eligibility for those who are not citizens or nationals of the U.
