Sr Project Engineer
Provide support to the Project Manager andSuperintendent in the management and execution of assignedcontracts through all phases of construction includingplanning / project startup construction and post construction / project closeout.
Will work from field office(s) and onconstruction sites. $8825.00$93825.00 per year. Duties : Assistingwith preparation of PreActivity and project startup meetingsincluding Project Handoff Meeting with Estimating DepartmentPreConstruction Meeting with Owner and PreConstruction Meeting withUnions.
Distributing and maintaining Project Plans SpecificationsStandard Plans Job Special Provisions Phase Listing Direct CostReports Plan Revisions etc.
Building Daily and / or Weekly ProjectSchedule and distributing to all required parties. Assisting withinitial development and monthly update of CPM Schedule.
AssistingSuperintendent and Foremen with daytoday tasks including materialprocurement daily project scheduling survey / layout etc.
Coordinating with subcontractors material suppliers and vendors asneeded to meet project schedule requirements. Coordinating withOwner / Owners representative Inspectors QC / QA personnel etc.
toschedule testing and / or inspection of work. Coordinating with MWOperations Managers including Survey Quality Control StructuresConcrete Transportation etc.
as needed. Preparing and submittingRFIs and Submittals to owner or engineer of record. Assisting withproject closeout / final completion tasks including punchlist finalplans certs final quantities / change orders etc.
Travel toclient(project) sites within 2hour driving distance : approximately2 days / month(10%).Requires : BS Civil Engineering with focus onConstruction / Engineering Management 2 years Civil Engineering(Heavy Construction) experience OR MS Civil Engineering with focuson Construction / Engineering Management 1 year Civil Engineering(Heavy Construction) experience Completion of OSHA 10Hour or 30hourConstruction Course.
Strong proficiency using MSProject HCSSHeavyJob or HeavyBid and Primavera P6.
