About The Position
- Job Title : Registered Nurse (RN) - Level 3 PACU Job Specialty : PACU Nurse Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 3x12-hour rotating shifts (Days / Evenings / Nights), including holidays, weekends, on-call, and call-back as needed Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week Experience : Minimum of two years;
- PACU experience required, ICU experience preferred License : RN License Required Certifications : - BLS (American Heart Association)- ACLS (American Heart Association) Must-Have : New York RN License;
two years of RN experience; strong communication skills; ability to work independently Job Description : Responsible for recovering post-operative adult patients.
- Work collaboratively in a dynamic nursing environment with a diverse range of post-operative patients.- Operate in a high-volume, high-acuity Post-Anesthesia Care Unit in a level 1 trauma center.
- Maintain a positive attitude and practice direct communication in line with unit standards.- Demonstrate excellent communication skills and the ability to function autonomously.
- PACU experience is a requisite; ICU experience is advantageous.
