Position Overview
We are seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer with experience in designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software quality assurance, a deep understanding of automation tools, and the ability to mentor junior team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute automated tests and analyze the results to identify issues and ensure the quality of the software.
- Continuously improve and enhance the existing automation framework to ensure high efficiency and reliability.
- Perform code reviews and provide feedback to improve test automation practices across the team.
- Identify, document, and track bugs through resolution, ensuring high-quality releases.
- Mentor and guide junior QA engineers, helping them to grow in their roles and contribute effectively to the team.
- Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies to ensure the automation practices remain cutting-edge.
- Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives, contributing to the overall Agile process.
- Work closely with DevOps to integrate automated tests into the CI / CD pipeline.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 6+ years of experience in QA automation, with a focus on web and mobile applications.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python.
- Strong understanding of testing framework PyTest and experience in API Testing.
- Understanding of Financial Service Application (trading).
- Experience with CI / CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab.
- Solid understanding of Agile / Scrum methodologies.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Primary Skillset
- Python, PyTest,
- Selenium, JUnit, TestNG.
- UI Testing.
- RESTful API Testing and understanding of testing tools like Postman.
- Experience in the following.
- JIRA.
- BitBucket.
- SonarQube.
- AppDynamics.
- Splunk.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
