Professional Fire Systems, LLC and Professional Fire Systems Inc. recently joined the Impact Fire Services team. As a subsidiary company of Impact Fire Services, Professional Fire has provided fire and life safety inspection, repair, and installation services covering Massachusetts and New England areas for over 19 years.
JOB SUMMARY :
This position has the responsibility of driving our company light-duty trucks and transporting material from Professional Fire Systems warehouse and / or supplier warehouses to multiple job sites throughout New England.
The driver will also be responsible for loading and unloading materials, as well as general shop cleanliness and organization.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Must have a current DOT license
- Demonstrate safe / efficient-driving skills
- Complying with Federal, State, and Local laws guidelines
- Good customer service and ability to communicate verbally with customers in a professional manner.
- Ability to adhere to and enforce all safety procedures
- Communicate with management any problem or safety preoccupation taken
- Must be prepared and flexible to perform associated and related job functions that are not specifically identified in this job description.
- Salary is based on experience
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Must be able to arrive at work by 5 am for pickups.
- DOT license
- High School Diploma Preferred and 1+ years of relevant experience preferred or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret maps and GPS technology.
- Complete paperwork accurately and completely and understand the importance of detail. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, supervisors and employees.
Must be able to read, speak, write and understand Basic English.
- Must be at least 21 years old with a valid DOT license and a good driving record,
- Ability to be able to be insured by our company vehicle insurance and take a DOT physical
- Must be prepared to work in any traffic or weather conditions according to the pickup locations.
- Must be able to follow directions and possess a "can do" attitude.
- Ability to create and maintain cooperative team-building relationships.
- Work as a team with Field Management Team & Purchasing Management Team to meet organization goals and expectations.
- Must be able to work in coordination with his or her supervisor and colleagues

- Ability to lift between 50 - 100 lbs.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
- 1 year of driving experience
- 1 year truck driving experience
Successful completion of a drug test and pre-employment background screening is required. MVR checks are required for all driving positions.
