Minimum 1+ years speech therapy experience required.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Administer virtual assessments to evaluate students' speech, language, fluency, and voice skills, utilizing a variety of assessment methods including standardized assessments, informal observations, and consultations with parents and teachers.
  • Analyze assessment results to determine students' eligibility for speech-language services and develop individualized treatment plans in compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Conduct virtual therapy sessions addressing communication disorders such as articulation, language comprehension, expressive language, pragmatics, fluency, and voice disorders.
  • Tailor therapy materials and strategies to meet diverse student needs and learning preferences, drawing upon evidence-based practices and assistive technology resources..
  • Offer guidance and training to teachers and parents on effective strategies for fostering students' communication skills within the virtual learning environment.
  • Actively participate in virtual IEP meetings, interdisciplinary team discussions, and professional development sessions to promote collaboration and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications :

  • Hold a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Possess valid state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology in Arizona.
  • Maintain the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • Demonstrate previous experience as a speech-language pathologist, preferably within educational settings or in providing teletherapy services.
  • Show familiarity with teletherapy platforms, tele practice software, and technological tools utilized in remote service delivery.
  • Display strong interpersonal skills, facilitating effective collaboration with students, families, educators, and fellow professionals.
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication abilities necessary for documentation, reporting, and consultation purposes.
