If I was looking for a new job these posts wouldn’t excite me. So, here is my attempt to find you the right person for our team.

At Inland Geodetics , we pride ourselves on providing accurate, timely, and reliable professional Land Surveying services.

With over 20 years in the industry, we are a privately-owned, survey-only small business specializing in infrastructure projects for municipalities and civil engineers in the Central Texas Region.

We are expanding quickly and seeking an experienced project manager to join our tight-knit group. This role will oversee the day-to-day operations of a six-person team of field and office staff for multiple projects, including tracking deliverables, creating budgets, and staff development.

They will serve as the key point of contact between Inland Geodetics and our clients.

In a typical day, you will :

Arrive whenever you want because you’re a grown person. Though we prefer you to be available periodically for a meeting or calls.

Field crews arrive at 7 : 00 and return at 3 : 00.

We only meet once a week in the morning to go over our portfolio. We hate meetings.

The mornings are usually quiet so people can try and get work done. Although sometimes we get distracted joking or getting breakfast tacos.

Lunch is up to you. We very often all go out together, some people work out, some eat at their desk, like serial killers.

Afternoons are at times hectic for PM’s. Everyone starts to call, get back from the field, and decide they have tons of questions for you.

You’ll be free to manage how you want though.

Most office staff leave between 5 : 00 and 6 : 00, but it’s up to you to get your work done and hours in.

Here’s the Technical Stuff :

Manage projects from start to finish, while ensuring services meet company quality standards and client specifications

Develop and manage budgets, schedules, billings, and contracts

Work with staff RPLS to sign and seal plats, field notes, and control drawings if required

Establish work plans and staffing requirements for multiple projects

Participate in business development opportunities and maintain strong client relationships

Effectively interface with sub-consultants and as well as other business relationships

Represent company interests while in meetings and trade shows as needed

Perform other tasks as assigned to help accomplish the Company’s strategic goals
