Workplace Specialist
In this role, you'll manage daily operations at Zoom's San Jose HQ, ensuring smooth office functions. You'll handle space planning, vendor relationships, budget management, and small expansion projects.

About the Team
The team at Zoom's San Jose Headquarters manages daily operations across two buildings. They oversee seven floors that accommodate over 800 hybrid employees.

Responsibilities
Managing day-to-day workplace operations to ensure the office runs smoothly and efficiently, delivering a high service level.
Managing team moves and updating the Zoom Workspaces tool (space planning).
Partnering with Workplace lead on operational budgets, purchase orders, and accruals; working closely with the accounting team on a monthly and quarterly basis.
Partnering with the Zoom Physical Security team on access control and security camera systems.
Partnering closely with property management, submitting all work orders, and serving as the first point of contact for all operational matters.
Partnering with the Zoom Real Estate expansion team to assist in small and new floor expansion projects. Ensure all Zoom design standards are met and that spaces and programs are successfully deployed for final fit-up and opening.
Helping create and maintain a preventative plan for HVAC, lighting, plumbing, carpet, paint and janitorial.
Managing off-site warehouse; shipping and receiving program, partnering with cross-functional groups on operation.
What we’re looking for
5-7 years of experience in Workplace Operations or Facilities is required. The role involves delivering top-notch customer service and helping to create an A-class employee experience.
Extensive experience in vendor management, small projects, and furniture project experience.
Ability to work independently, driving projects and tasks to completion with little direction. The person has to view themselves as an organized self-starter.
Experience managing operating budgets and working closely with accounting on accruals.
Familiarity with Zoom Room operations.
Proficiency in Google Suite.
Excellent organizational, interpersonal, analytical, written, and oral communications skills.
Salary Range or On Target Earnings :
Minimum : $64,300.00
Maximum : $128,600.00
In addition to the base salary and / or OTE listed, Zoom has a Total Direct Compensation philosophy that takes into consideration base salary, bonus, and equity value.
Starting pay will be based on a number of factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience. There may be a different range for candidates in this and other locations.
