Position Overview
State Farm Insurance Agent located in Houston, TX is seeking an outgoing, career-oriented professional to join their team.
As a State Farm team member for Matt Tupa - State Farm Agent, you will build and develop customer relationships within the community to promote State Farm products including auto, home and life insurance.
Responsibilities
- Establish customer relationships and follow up with customers, as needed.
- Work with the agent to establish and meet marketing goals.
- Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market appropriate products and services.

Requirements
- Sales experience (outside sales or inside sales representative, retail sales associate, or telemarketing) preferred
- Excellent communication skills - written, verbal and listening
- Self-motivated, able to generate energy during customer conversations and find your own creative ways of enhancing sales conversations
- Ability to make presentations to potential customers
- Achieve mutually agreed upon marketing goals
- Willingness to obtain Property and Casualty (P&C) license before starting job; cost is $265 & you will be fully reimbursed after 90 days
- Must be available to work the following schedule : Mon - Thurs 8 : 30a - 5 : 30pm; Fri 8 : 30a - 5p
