Job Description
Primary duties will include design, implement and support of a hybrid ecosystem of on premise and cloud data solution architectures.
The candidate will have knowledge of modern data architecture, Cloud architectures, and integration patterns such as RDBMS, Snowflake, Azure Event Architecture, Web Services, Machine Learning and Data Virtualization via federation technologies.
Job Responsibilities
- Design, develop, implement and document scalable and efficient solutions for internal and external data services that adhere to best practices and standards.
- Design, develop, implement and document data processing pipelines catering to both batch and real-time data engineering requirements.
- Collaborate with development and operation teams to integrate data pipelines, ETL processes and data-driven applications into CI / CD frameworks, ensuring seamless code deployment.
- Ensure robust data quality within tight timelines by designing, implementing and monitoring data management solutions. Collaborate closely with teams to drive continuous data quality improvement.
- Evaluate / understand the impact of database changes on other systems and applications, ensuring data integrity, security, and compliance with change management control.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Technical Science.
- Minimum 5 years in design, mentorship and implementing data-centric solutions working across a hybrid data ecosystem, along with understanding of the challenges and limitations of these solutions.
