My client, a global and innovative telecommunications company, are looking to hire a Network Project Manager to spearhead an exciting transformation project.
This team sits within the Engineering function which has a start-up feel to it, despite having huge global investment - creating a unique blend of autonomy and stability.
The main focus of this role is to implement network projects that vary in complexity for all platforms, including IP, Transmission, Voice, Satellite or VAS (Value Added Services).
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with prior experience within the telecommunications industry to further grow their career and gain the opportunity to shape the wider business during this migration.
Role Responsibilities :
- Serve as a point of contact, providing accurate, and clearly communicated + regular status updates on assigned network project implementations from the beginning to the end.
- Update all databases + tracking sheets in relation to assigned projects and to ensure documentation of the project implementations.
- Create budget requests (BRs), purchase requisitions (PRs) for equipment, and services as needed for projects, in compliance w / the current procurement process, on projects that vary in complexity.
Experience required :
- 4+ years of experience as a hands-on PM.
- PMI Certification & a solid understanding of PM Tools Methodology, Risk Management and Stakeholder Management.
- Experience working within a telecommunications or Network-as-a-Service firm.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Understanding of Iso 9000 is a plus.
- Understanding of SAFe is a plus.
