About The Position
Shift : M-F 2 : 30pm-8pm and Saturday 8a-4pmDescription : Understands and adheres to the facility Performance Standards, Policies and Behaviors.
Conducts color flow Doppler Echos following established protocols.Conducts Stress Echos according to established protocols.
Assist Cardiologist in the TEE procedure.Submits echocardiogram at the highest quality possible well within the appropriate time span.
Identifies and conducts Echos without delegation.Identifies and conducts other Non-Invasive testing without delegation. Example : EKG, Holter.
Must be proficient in the use of all other medical equipment such as EKG and EEG machines.Must be proficient in the use of office equipment such as copy machine, fax and computer.
Recognizes and reports and equipment malfunction.Maintains safety standards at all times and follows infection control guidelines.
Performs routine office tasks, such as answering phones, checking-in patients, obtaining previous reports / films, orother related duties as needed.
Participates in the performance improvement program.Demonstrates the ability to work and communicate with all members of the practice team.
Conducts other Non-Invasive procedures.Recognizes abnormal echo findings and communicates any life-threatening situation to the appropriate personnel.
Ability to interact with neonates through the geriatric population.Coverage rotation to other outpatient offsites.Duties and hours may change according to the needs of the offsite practices.
May be required to work holidays, overtime and / or day, evening and overnight shift coverage to help maintain adequate and safecoverage for the outpatient facility.
Performs all other related duties as assigned.
