Further Specifics :

• Nonbillable Hours : 12 hours of initial hours
• OT / Holiday / Call back Markups : 1.1x Regular rates
• Extension Discount : $1 / hr on the initial extension.

Any RN contractor who is absent from a scheduled shift or is more than 20 minutes late for their scheduled shift 3 times will be terminated effective immediately.

Situations such as communicable disease or hospitalization with supporting evidence will be reviewed in favor of the contractor.

This policy will begin on 6 / 1 / 2024.

The Cardiovascular Registered Nurse uses clinical judgment skills to diagnose and treat patient responses to actual or potential health conditions.

The RN is a critical member of the Cardiovascular Unit (CVU) which cares for over 4000 cardiology patients annually; procedures including PTCA, stents, TAVR, MitraClip, and bi-ventricular pacemakers.

Approximately 300 open heart surgery patients (18-24 hours post-op) are discharged from this unit. The CVU also specializes in the care of patients with congestive heart failure and electrophysiology studies.

• A skills checklist completed within one year of application for RN specialties is required. All other professions outside of Nursing are not required but preferred.
• Michigan license verification is required for nurses. Please provide LARA and Nursys; if there is a license hit, it would be in the traveler'

• Physical copies of certifications are only required in the profile if listed above.
• Full-time employees are not eligible for contract hire within six months of employment.
