Data Engineer

A company is looking for a Data Engineer to modernize Veteran and Family Member Programs by designing and maintaining data pipelines and integration frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

Design and build data pipelines and ETL processes for data integration from various sources

Develop data models and architectures for real-time decision-making and analytics

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions for data management

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, data engineering, or a related field

5+ years of experience in designing and implementing large-scale data solutions

Proficiency in SQL, Python, and data pipeline tools (e.g., Apache Spark, Airflow)

Experience with cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP)

Understanding of ETL / ELT, API integration, and real-time data streaming
