New Teacher / Licensed Staff Orientation :
New teaching / new licensed staff orientation will be held on July 24 & 25, 2024
Experience :
District 49 credits each year of verified full-time / full-year K-12 teaching experience up to 20 years.
Work Schedule :
182 contracted work days (Salary is prorated based on start date.)

Salary :
The minimum starting pay is $50,059* / year and the maximum salary is $85,004* / year. Initial pay placement is dependent on level of formal education and years of relevant experience (the maximum credit granted is 20 years)
Salary is prorated based on start date.

Qualifications and Expectations :
- BA / BS from accredited college or university
- Valid Colorado License endorsed in area of assignment : 0-8 or 0-8 Early Childhood Special Education. NOTE : This is the only endorsement that is acceptable for this position.
If you do not hold this endorsement but have been accepted into a CDE approved program that when finished will yield you eligible to apply for a CO teaching license or added endorsement in ECSE while working under a Special Education Temporary Authorization (SETA) please upload your program acceptance letter that clearly states you are in a CDE approved program for ECSE and that the college / university are able and willing to sign off on all SETA paperwork.
