A leading ownership company is seeking a Staff Accountant to join their team due to significant growth. This role will be responsible for performing a wide range of general accounting duties and work closely with upper management.
Responsibilities :
- Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Reconcile bank statements, balance sheet accounts, and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Support the month-end and year-end closing processes by preparing necessary entries and schedules.
- Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and work with external auditors during audits.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and assist in the implementation of new accounting procedures.
- Participate in special projects as assigned by management.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field
- Entry Level or 1+ years of experience
- Excel experience is a plus
