The Azure AI Customer Experience Engineering team within the AI platform product organization works on the Azure AI growth strategy, engages the largest customers and partners in the world to co-innovate, incubate, and improve our core AI platform from scenarios utilizing Azure platform Services, and develop new scenarios and product categories.
We do so by building and infusing AI technologies in real world solutions and extending the signals from real world patterns to build robust, scalable AI platform services and products.
As a Senior Program Manager, you will manage programs and activities that enable and drive Azure OpenAI Service to grow to a $1B+ business.
This role will manage our global GPU (Graphics Processing Units) Capacity Planning and Allocation program to ensure the GPU fleet will be at the scale and geo-distribution that will support our revenue targets.
This role also includes managing the Azure OpenAI Service quota management process to ensure our customers can deliver production deployments at scale.
The third area of responsibility is managing the Azure OpenAI Customer Insights program.

Responsibilities
- Manage the Azure OpenAI Service capacity forecasting process, as well as the capacity allocation process, systems, and weekly execution, performed in partnership with the different engineering teams, global operations teams, business planning and sales.
- Manage the Azure OpenAI Service quota management process.
- Scope, manage and deliver development projects related to capacity planning and customer insights tooling and reporting dashboards.
- Oversee and coordinate our Azure OpenAI customer insights program, goaled with identifying and tracking barriers to driving revenue to scale;
and also collecting, analyzing, and reporting on customer use cases, usage patterns, geo and model adoption trends and corresponding capacity requirements and product shape.
- Identify areas of opportunities, demand signal and factors that inhibit customers from deploying at scale and providing that feedback to product management and engineering teams.
- Glean strategic insights from customer learnings and develop recommendations to shape Azure OpenAI Service product roadmap and GTM (Go to Market).
- Influence and guide the service GTM with deep, data driven insights gained from Customer Experience Engineering-led customer and partner technical engagements.

QualificationsRequired Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s Degree AND 5+ years experience in product / service / project / program management or software development
- OR equivalent experience.
- 4+ years experience as a Program Manager, Product Manager or Solution Architect working with customers and partners, with deep focus on AI strategy.

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and / or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings : Microsoft Cloud Background Check :
This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire / transfer and every two years thereafter.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience working with data center and GPU capacity planning, infrastructure capacity and sales demand.
- Analytical skills, including managing multiple datasets with MS Excel and Azure Dev Ops.
- Experience in Cloud Computing (particularly working for major players and / or partners in the industry).
- Understanding of Azure AI concepts and products.
- Track record with cloud services delivering production deployments, and scaling usage / consumption of product and services.
- Communication skills with a broad range of audiences and ability to influence without authority.
- Problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills across a set of technical, product, and business challenges.
