Job Details
- Patient Diagnoses : Stroke, Seizures, Subdural Hematoma, Brain Tumor, Neurosurgical Intervention, Neuromuscular disorders, Post Arrest
- Special Procedures / Unit Details : Post procedure monitoring (TPA, Thrombectomy , Pipeline Stent, Cerebral Aneurysm Coiling or Clipping), etc.
- Bedside procedures include : intubation, arterial and central line placement, EVD, etc.
- Special Equipment : BIS, TOF, Arctic Sun, EEG, FloTrac, A-line, Central Line, Zoll Intravascular Cooling, Bolt, EVD, Camino ICP
- Patient Ratio : 1 : 2
- Float requirement
- EPIC experience required
- Unit does not accept first time travelers
- 2 years min ICU experience
Job Requirements
- Preferred Certifications : ACLS, BCLS, NIH
- Must be able to interpret and manage dysrhythmias, manage multi-system organ failure
- Must be able to follow IV insulin protocols
- Management of continuous IV sedation, procedural sedation administration, titrate cardiac drips, and titrate vasoactive drips
- Ventilator management
