This positionacts as the Business Lead for quality assurance related bestpractices for Meijer Own Brand Apparel.
Positions follows hybrid schedule : Monday-Wednesday in office, Thursday-Friday remote.
WhatYou’ll Be Doing :
- Lead thequality team responsible for Meijer Own Brand Apparel includingapparel technical support.
- In coordination withthe QA Apparel Manager, establish processes, infrastructure andtraining to ensure Meijer Own Brand apparel meets customerexpectations related to quality andsafety.
- Develop product standards for appareltech packs.
- Oversee the development of testingprotocols for apparel.
- Coordinate with theCompliance Specialist to ensure regulatory requirements arecorrectly addressed in testing protocols and techpacks.
- Coordinate with testing labs andmanufacturers to ensure products are tested and inspected accordingto Meijer’s standards.
- Review apparel testingand inspection failures and determine corrective actionrequired.
- Coordinate with Technical Designersto establish garment constructionstandards.
- Develop and manage Meijer’s qualitymanagement system for apparel including the vendor scorecard / qualification program.
- In coordination with the QA ApparelManager, communicate with Meijer team members, vendors and agentsoverseas in support of apparel on quality topics, production issuesand product concern investigations.
- Takedirection from QA Apparel Manager related to strategic direction ofthe business.
- In coordination with the QAApparel Manager, develop and implement an appropriate strategy forproduct evaluation post launch including customer return andcomplaint data and in-store evaluations.

WhatYou Bring With You(Qualifications) :
- Bachelor’sdegree in Apparel and Textile Technology orDesign.
- 3-4 years of experience in Appareland / or Textile Quality Assurance rolerequired
- Positive, high energy and ability tothrive in a fast-paced, ever-changingenvironment.
- Self-motivation with a strong workethic, attention to detail and ability to work well within acreative team.
- Ability to think proactively andsolve problems.
- E xperience workingwith Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems is a plus
