Job Title : Program Manager III (Order Management PM)

Duration : 12 months

Location : Open to Remote or Hybrid in the Bay Area (in office 3 days a week)

Job Description

The client’s Enterprise Supply Chain organization is a global team responsible for fulfilling all internal end user IT needs.

We build integrated, scalable, and robust processes and systems to manage planning & inventory life cycle. We are looking for a Project Manager to support the Order Manager in developing various programs within the Central Supply Chain arm of the organization.

The PM will be working with the Order Manager to develop and define the new Order Management function within the EE Supply Chain org which will require strong collaboration skills, the ability to navigate complex problems, keen attention to detail, and superb follow through capabilities.

In addition, the PM will assist with developing change management for the org and later operating that function which will require tracking, closing, and reporting on those changes.

The ideal candidate for this role will be a professional who can think strategically, adapt quickly, and rapidly earn credibility with all levels of the organization.

This person will need exceptional communication and planning skills. They will also be a strong team player, highly motivated, and take initiative in all situations.

This role requires an individual who thrives in ambiguous situations and who can lead without authority.

Core Responsibilities :

  • Order Processing Optimization : Streamline order processing workflows to minimize manual interventions, reduce errors, and improve efficiency
  • Backlog Management : Manage orders without supply, ensuring supply is in transit
  • Substitution Resolution : Resolve orders that require manual entry of non-standard substitutions
  • Order Prioritization : Override the priority for selected orders to ensure orders are fulfilled to maximize business value
  • Order Tracking & Reporting : Implement tracking systems to monitor order status, identify bottlenecks, and generate performance reports for management review.
  • Change Management : Assist with driving end-to-end completion of all changes, ensuring proper global alignment, and maintaining a comprehensive change log
  • Engage with cross-functional teams to identify scope, constraints, dependencies, and risks associated with any requested changes
  • Drive communication between cross-functional teams to find solutions for requested changes
  • Assist with creating and maintaining all Order Management documentation
  • Assist with development of any additional XFN programs that may arise; creating documentation and operationalizing

Minimum Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience / education
  • 5+ years of experience in Program / Project Management
  • 2+ years of experience with Order Management
  • 2+ years experience with change management / version control
  • Demonstrated ability to use critical thinking to achieve goals
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work effectively across multiple teams in a time sensitive capacity
  • Self-motivated & highly adaptable, able to work autonomously
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Communication and reporting skills
