Senior Optical System Engineer

Senior Optical System Engineer :
We are currently seeking for an experienced system engineer to characterize and optimize the system performance of high-speed coherent transmission transceiver.
The product integrates the highly integrated electro-optical devices and digital signal processing engine to deliver the 400 Gb / s or higher with small form factor and power consumption.
Our ideal candidate exhibits a can-do attitude and approaches his or her work with vigor and determination. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate excellence in optical communication fields, to possess the ability to learn quickly and to strive for perfection within a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop methods and setup for high-speed coherent optical transceiver characterization and system optimization.
- Work with internal and external component supplier to trade-off design parameters to meet customer requirements
- Perform transceiver characterization under various end user application conditions
- Develop automated test tools and lab environment for efficient and reliable data collection.
Key Qualifications :
- Undergraduate degree in physics, electrical engineering, or a related field.
- 3 year+ reverent industry / academic experience with optical transceiver characterization.
- Experience of communication link testing including BER measurements
- Hands-on experience with optical module and link testing.
- Experience with optical transceiver operation from standard interface (I2C and MDIO)
- Ability to analyze measurement data to extract key device performance features.
- Proficient working with large datasets and statistical analysis tools.
- Fluency with test automation programming (, Python or others)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Desired Qualifications :
- Graduate degree in physics, electrical engineering, or a related field.
- 6+ years of experience with optical module test and evaluation.
- Strong coherent system understanding
