Job Summary :
We are seeking a Utility Worker to join our team at a Senior Living Facility. The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure the cleanliness, maintenance, and safety of the facility.
The Utility Worker will perform a variety of tasks to support the daily operations and upkeep of the facility.
Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in janitorial or maintenance roles preferred
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment and tools
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Physical stamina to stand, lift, and perform repetitive tasks
Responsibilities :
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors
- Clean and sanitize common areas
- Assist with trash removal and recycling
- Wash, sanitize, and rinse equipment, dishes, carts, and stations
- Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and notify when replenishment is needed
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe environment for residents and staff
- Collaborate with team members to complete tasks efficiently and effectively
- Maintain a positive attitude and professional demeanor at all times
