A 350-bed full-service, acute care hospital is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician for locum tenens coverage.
The facility is located outside of Houston, Texas.
The main emergency department (ED) operates from 7 AM to 7 AM the following day, with coverage shifts from 7 AM to 5 PM, 11 AM to 9 PM, 5 PM to 3 AM, and 9 PM to 7 AM.
The freestanding emergency department (FSED) is open from 7 AM to 7 PM and 7 PM to 7 AM. Common procedures performed include intubation, central line placement, chest tube insertion, conscious sedation, fracture reduction, and laceration repair, all of which are standard for an ED.
The facility is designated as a Level III Trauma Center.
